I'm Alison Wyrick Mendoza. I am a Business Development professional with a diverse background in Aviation, Aerospace MRO and Additive Manufacturing (AM).
Over the past decade, I've spent time in various roles at Emirates Airline, AeroTurbine, Honeywell Aerospace, and now, GE Additive.
I grew up with an intrigue and interest in multilingualism and multiculturalism and I spent several years living and working overseas. I moved back to the US in 2013 and now live in Scottsdale, Arizona with my husband and son. Luckily, I still get to travel the world to talk with people about AM. I hold a BA in Linguistics and a MBA with a focus in Aviation.
I'm a curious, collaborative, life-long learner and innovator. I can think divergently and to turn those thoughts into action. I'm always interested in creating & doing cool things with like-minded individuals. I also believe there is value in learning about other cultures; I've lived in 4 countries, and visited 61 as of 2020.
In 2017, I launched an online presence to help bring awareness to 3D printing. You can follow me currently here, on LinkedIn or on Instagram and Twitter using #AdditiveAlison or the @AdditiveAlison handle.
